Transfering/reserving books between rikkyo libraries

If the books you want are not available on campus, you can apply to transfer them, or order a copy of them. If the materials are not available anywhere throughout the Rikkyo University library, you can order them from another university or institute. Please refer to the procedures page for details. Transfering books from other campuses

If the books you are seeking are not available on campus, you can transfer them from the other campus. Also, books held in the Niiza Repository Library can be ordered from any Rikkyo University Library.

To apply, you can either print out a request memo from OPAC search results and submit it at the library counter, or press the "Subscription" button at the OPAC search results to apply online.

* When applying through OPAC, you will be required to log in using your RIKKYO V-Campus ID and password (for library use authorization, you will need an L-Card ID and password).
Once the materials you have ordered are ready, you will be informed by email via the address entered on your application. Make sure to stop by the library within a week after you have received the email.

Those unable to apply via OPAC or come to the library should use the "Inter-Campus Delivery Application Form" to apply.

For materials that cannot leave the library, please make a copy (fee required).
Undergraduate students should apply at the Ikebukuro Library or Niiza Library.

If you have unclear points related to page numbers, etc. when filling out this application,please use the library's databases to research as much as you can in advance.
Please note that photocopy requests inside the range is permitted by the the Act of Copyright Law.
Examples of unacceptable requests: The latest issue of a magazine (in which 3 months have not yet passed since its publication, and the next issue has not yet been published), more than half of total pages of a particular book, an academic dissertation without permission from the author, etc.

Fees are 10 yen per black and white copy, and 40 yen per color copy.

Reserving books out on loan

Books currently borrowed by someone else can be reserved.
To apply, you can either print out a request memo from OPAC search results and submit it at the library counter, or press the "Subscription" button at the OPAC search results to apply online.

If the title you want is housed at more than one library, we generally cannot reserve the book from a specific library. The book which becomes available first will be reserved for you.

In case of check your reservation

The reserve status of content and books can be checked at any time from MyLibrary > "Reserve Status Confirmation" screen.

In case of cancelation of your reservation

If you no longer need books you have reserved, you can cancel the reservation via MyLibrary > "Reserve Status Confirmation" screen.
