We displayed English books about Japanese culture.

Some comments or questions about books, study abroad and foreign countries were on the message board.

Seminar on English class trials Reservation required

We introduce libraries’ databases and tools, which are useful for daily learning and preparations of studying abroad in the form of English classes. You can participate with ease as the lecturer uses easy English for Japanese students. Taste the atmosphere of English classes. Of course International students can participate.

This is a English program that you can learn how to use "Factiva.com", a world newspaper database.

  • Practice Room
    Group Study Room 8 was available as "Practice Room for Basic Phrase in discussion" from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on October 17. Students read the phrases aloud in this room with the lecturer.
    *Participants may enter and leave as they please. And People who won't take part in this seminar can also use.

  • 講師の方がとても親しみやすく、はじめは不安でしたがとても楽しく終わることができました。
  • 英語を上手にはなせないことがあまりプレッシャーにならず、とても楽しかったです。次は英語をレベルアップさせてまた参加したいです。
  • 観光学部なのでテーマが観光でおもしろかったです。各学部対象にテーマを設定するのは良いなと思いました。
  • 外部(観光業に勤めてない方)からの視点で作られていたのがよかった。もっと留学生で話したら、多様な見方ができると思った。

    This program is a library orientation for English learners. You can go round the corner for English learning and overseas exposure.

    Please check the book exhibition at Ikebukuro library and Niiza library. The exhibition will begin on May 8.

    In this program, you can search the hottest topic by the foreign newspaper databases and confirm the trend in individual countries.

    LEVEL1 Seminars on English pronunciations

    The lecturer, who have a master's degree in education from University of Cambridge and have an English instructor’s license, offers you the tips on English pronunciations. Get the useful tips on English pronunciations and find the shortest way to improve English conversations.
